High-level notes for each patch — what was added, tuned, or fixed, and how it affects the way you play.

v1.4 — SBR Update May 2026

SBR Update — New Abilities, Shibuya Rework & Balance Pass

The SBR Update is the largest patch since launch, adding 3 new abilities (Atomic, Coyote, Brago), reworking Shibuya map enemy pathing, rebalancing 6 existing abilities, and adding the Shadow Garden Raid Shop. This patch fundamentally shifted the meta toward Shadow Coin farming.

Added
  • Atomic Ability — S+ tier, purchasable from Shadow Garden Raid Shop (2,500 SC)
  • Coyote Ability — S tier, Mythic pool from Lucky Spin
  • Brago Ability — A tier, available from Normal Ability Spin
  • Shadow Garden Raid Shop — SC currency store with Infinity Gadget, Shadow Cloak, Igris Pet, Atomic
  • Hei Outfit — endgame BiS cosmetic craftable from Starrk NPC
  • Infinite Champion Title — unlocks at Shibuya Infinite Wave 50
  • World Five Title — unlocks at 50 total raid clears
Changed
  • Shibuya map enemy pathing reworked — death-ball consolidation faster (8s vs 15s)
  • Pride V-skill window increased: 6s → 8s
  • Kamehameha base damage: 420% → 480% ATK
  • Domain Expansion AoE radius increased by 15%
  • Saiyan Meteor Strike projectile speed increased by 25%
  • Gear Fifth V-skill heal: 10% HP → 15% HP
  • Flash Trait CDR: 15% → 20%
Fixed
  • Black Hole Gadget pull radius inconsistency on Gravewalker map
  • Infinity Gadget activation delay on Shadow Garden Phase 2 Sword Barrage (was 0.8s too late)
  • Nyanmaru +Coins bonus not applying in Dungeon mode
  • Fortune Trait coin bonus not stacking correctly with x2 Coin Boost

Meta note: Atomic purchase from Shadow Garden Shop (vs. RNG Lucky Spin) creates a deterministic endgame path. Flash Trait CDR buff (+5%) increases V-skill activations by ~8% per session. Gear Fifth heal buff makes it comparable to Pride for Infinite Mode survival. Overall meta: Shadow Garden farming is now the primary endgame loop.

v1.3 — AOT Update April 2026

AOT Update — Attack on Titan Content, Infinity Castle Raid & New Map

The AOT Update added the Infinity Castle Raid, Titan Shift and Armored Titan abilities, the Hollow Mask pet, and the Impel Down Dungeon Nightmare difficulty. The Infinity Castle raid introduced the game's most challenging instant-kill mechanic (Absorption Nova).

Added
  • Infinity Castle Raid — 3-phase raid with Muzan Kibutsuji final boss
  • Titan Shift Ability — B tier, Normal Spin
  • Armored Titan Ability — B tier, Normal Spin
  • Hollow Mask Pet — S tier, +30% ATK +12% V-skill DMG, from Shadow Garden Raid Shop
  • Impel Down Dungeon Nightmare difficulty
  • Dungeon Master Title — unlocks at 5 Dungeon Nightmare clears
  • Shadow Monarch Title — unlocks at 10 Shadow Garden clears
  • Upper Moon Title — unlocks at 10 any raid clears
Changed
  • Igris Pet source added: Shadow Garden Raid Shop (1,500 SC) in addition to Raid boss drop
  • Impel Down Diamond drop rate increased: 5% → 8% per room
  • Crystal material now drops from Impel Down Nightmare at 12% rate (previously Dungeon Normal only)
  • Dungeon enemy HP scaling adjusted for Nightmare difficulty balance
Fixed
  • Hollow Mask V-skill bonus not applying to Atomic on first activation
  • Raid Ticket refund not triggering on host disconnect in Shadow Garden
  • Upper Moon Title unlock condition counting duplicate raid type clears incorrectly

Meta note: Hollow Mask purchase path (Shadow Garden SC) creates Igris+Hollow Mask dual pet BiS setup. Infinity Castle adds Legendary Spin Tickets (300 SC) as second source for Legendary ability acquisition. Impel Down Nightmare Diamond buff accelerates Admiral Cloak crafting timeline by approximately 30%.

v1.2 — Shadow Garden Raid March 2026

Shadow Garden Raid — New Endgame Content & Shadow Coins

Shadow Garden Raid is the foundational endgame update — introducing Shadow Coins, the Igris boss fight, the Raid Shop, and the first instant-kill mechanic in the game (Sword Barrage). This patch defined the long-term progression loop of Anime Apocalypse.

Added
  • Shadow Garden Raid — 3-phase, 4-player raid with Igris the Shadow Soldier boss
  • Shadow Coins currency — earned from Shadow Garden Raid clears
  • Shadow Garden Raid Shop — first version (Infinity Gadget 800 SC, Shadow Cloak 850 SC)
  • Igris Pet — S tier, +35% ATK +8% Lifesteal, 2% Raid boss drop
  • Shadow Cloak cosmetic — +20% ATK, exclusive Raid Shop purchase
  • Raid Ticket system — 3 tickets per Shadow Garden attempt
  • Rage Gadget — S tier addition to Gadget Spin pool
Changed
  • Black Hole Gadget upgraded to Mythic rarity, moved to Gadget Spin Mythic pool
  • Wild West Raid ticket cost reduced: 5 → 3 per attempt
  • Gravewalker Nightmare Mastery XP reward increased by 20%
Fixed
  • Wild West Raid Phase 3 banner spawn timing inconsistency
  • Rage Gadget ATK bonus applying to cosmetic stat rather than base ATK

Meta note: Shadow Garden Raid established the primary endgame loop. Infinity Gadget (mandatory for Phase 2) created a hard barrier to entry — casual players must farm 800 SC before Shadow Garden is viable. Rage Gadget addition significantly increased Shadow Garden clear speed.

v1.1 — Wild West Raid February 2026

Wild West Raid — First Raid Content, Titles System & Gear Fifth

v1.1 introduced the Wild West Raid as the first raid in the game, added the Titles progression system, and added Gear Fifth and Domain Expansion to the Lucky Spin Legendary pool.

Added
  • Wild West Raid — 3-phase entry-level raid, Medium difficulty
  • Titles system — passive stat bonuses unlocked through milestones
  • Wealthy Title — +25 ATK +10% EXP, unlocks at 500k total Coins
  • Gear Fifth Ability — S tier, added to Lucky Spin Legendary pool
  • Domain Expansion Ability — A tier, added to Lucky Spin pool
  • Conqueror's Haki Gadget — B tier, added to Gadget Spin pool
  • Feather material — drops from Wild West, used in Hei Cloak recipe
Changed
  • Normal Ability Spin pool expanded: Brago, King of Curses added
  • Shibuya Infinite Mode Coin rewards increased by 15% across all waves
  • Kurama Pet: +8% Mastery → +10% Mastery
Fixed
  • Saiyan passive revive triggering twice in same session (now correctly one revive per session)
  • x2 Coin Boost not applying on map exit and re-entry

Meta note: Wild West Raid introduced the progression stepping stone before Shadow Garden. Gear Fifth addition to Lucky Spin created a second S-tier target alongside Pride. Kurama Mastery buff (+2%) modestly accelerated the Mastery 75 milestone.
