S tier
| Trait | Stats | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ⚡ Flash | atkSpeed: +25% cooldown: -20% lifesteal: +5% atkDmg: +20% | Flash is the best trait in Anime Apocalypse by a significant margin. The combined +25% ATK Speed and -20% Cooldown Reduction effectively increases ability activation frequency by 40% — meaning Flash users activate their V-skill approximately 40% more often than non-Flash users per session. This compounds with every other damage source. The additional +5% Lifesteal and +20% ATK make Flash the most complete trait in the game. |
| ✨ Ethereal | atkDmg: +30% def: +20% hpRegenRate: +15% conditionalBonus: +15% ATK when HP > 80% | Ethereal is S-tier equal to Flash when HP is consistently above 80% — the conditional +15% ATK bonus activates constantly with Gear Fifth's heal or Igris Pet's lifesteal. The baseline +30% ATK is the highest flat ATK bonus of any trait. Ethereal is specifically better than Flash in scenarios where HP management is reliable (paired with Gear Fifth + Igris lifesteal). |
A tier
| Trait | Stats | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 💀 Reaper | atkDmg: +25% critChance: +15% critDmg: +40% | Reaper is the best A-tier trait — its Crit system (15% chance × 40% bonus damage) adds an average 6% DPS bonus from crits alone, plus the baseline +25% ATK. Reaper is the trait to accept and stop rerolling if S-tier has not been obtained after 20+ rerolls with limited ticket budget. |
| 💪 Destroyer | atkDmg: +28% hpBonus: +50 breakEffect: +20% | Destroyer is A-tier for tank-oriented builds — its +28% ATK is slightly higher than Reaper's flat ATK (+25%) but lacks the crit multiplier. The +50 HP bonus is relevant in early progression before Admiral Cloak's +80 HP. Accept Destroyer as a strong A-tier holdover before S-tier is obtained. |
| 🎓 Master | masteryXP: +20% abilityDmg: +15% vskillDmg: +10% | Master is A-tier specifically for the Mastery 1–100 progression phase — its +20% Mastery XP bonus stacks multiplicatively with x2 Mastery Boost, Admiral Cloak's +10% EXP, and Kurama Pet's +10% Mastery XP for maximum leveling speed. After reaching Mastery 100, Master's marginal +15% ability damage is surpassed by combat-focused A-tier traits. Swap to Reaper/Destroyer at Mastery 100. |
B tier
| Trait | Stats | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 🏹 Hunter | atkDmg: +15% movespeed: +10% enemySensorRange: +25% | Hunter is the most commonly obtained Rare trait — likely the first trait every player receives. The +15% ATK and +10% movement speed are meaningful in early progression. Hunter is a viable B-tier holdover through the Straw Hat → Hei Cloak progression phase. Reroll away from Hunter on first available Reroll Ticket toward Reaper or better. |
| 🛡️ Tough | hpBonus: +80 defBonus: +20% knockbackResist: +30% | Tough is a B-tier defensive trait — +80 HP and +20% DEF provide meaningful early survivability. Useful specifically for Dungeon Normal runs before Marine Coat is crafted. Has no offensive value and should be replaced with any A-tier combat trait at first opportunity. |
| 💨 Fleet | movespeed: +20% dashCooldown: -25% dodgeWindow: +0.2s | Fleet is a mobility-focused B-tier trait. The +20% movement speed is useful for Shibuya death-ball kiting — faster player movement makes maintaining the circular kiting route easier. No combat value beyond movement. Replace with any offensive trait at first Reroll Ticket opportunity. |
| 🍀 Fortune | coins: +25% expBonus: +10% dropRate: +5% | Fortune is uniquely B-tier rather than C-tier due to its farming utility — +25% Coins stacks with Admiral Cloak (+10%) and Nyanmaru Pet (+20%) for maximum coin income. Fortune is situationally A-tier during dedicated Shibuya Infinite Coin farming sessions. Equip Fortune when farming Coins, swap to Reaper for combat and raids. |
